Try Before you Buy

Our goal at Primo Vino is to help you explore and expand your knowledge and taste for wine. Every Tuesday evening from 6-8pm, we offer a themed complimentary tasting. It may be Napa Chardonnays, Wines of Italy, Missouri Nortons, etc.  Thursdays from 6-8pm, our neighbor, Cask, hosts similarly themed complimentary tastings but with beer.  On Saturdays from 10am-5pm, we have a variety of wine, beer and spirits selections available for complimentary tasting. Our Wine Station is also available daily to pour sample sizes or entire glasses.

We periodically have special events and education classes in our store. We will gladly come to your home, business, or function for a tasting. Join our email list to get regular announcements or come back often to see our tasting lineups.

Crooked Stave Keg Tapping Party & Complimentary Tasting

Crooked Stave uses traditional brewing methods to pay homage to the old-world styles that result in flavor profiles of extraordinary complexity.  Each Crooked Stave beer is fermented with wild yeast Brettanomyces, which lends a dry, earthy character, affectionately known as “funk.”  Nearly all Crooked Stave beers are conditioned in barrels of oak foeders with a house mixed sour culture, rendering beers with balanced acidity and smooth vinous notes.

  • Nightmare on Brett – 9.66%, Dark sour ale aged in Leopold Brothers whiskey barrels
  • Hazy Not Lazy – 6%, A bitter, moderately strong American pale ale that uses its clean, supporting malt to showcase its hop character
  • Trellis Buster DIPA – 8%, An intensely hoppy ale with minimal malt character, designed to showcase its strong hop flavors
  • From a Land Down Under – 5%, A bitter, moderately strong American pale ale that uses its clean supporting malt to showcase its hop character
  • Sourless IPA – 6%, East Coast without the rugged haze, West Coast without the cotton mouth dryness, and all around delicious, fruit forward, juicy and delicious
  • Colorado Wild Sage – 7.2%, Vielle Barrel-Aged Saison with Fresh Cuttings of Colorado Wild Sage
